Hahaha, I've been taking such a break going to two conventions not even a month apart seems strange to me.
(And to think earlier in the year I could do three a month, HA!)
NYCC has come and gone, I didn't enjoy the convention so much as I enjoyed seeing the friends I did
get to see.
Nobody I knew came to see me in Artist Alley which kind of sucked. I miss my up North friends, but oh well.
But I enjoyed my stay in NYC with Marie Grey her numerous roommates.
The trip was worth it just to get to spend time with them. (I was sad I had to leave!)
Even if I didn't really embrace the convention aside from the dealer's room, I had a great time helping out scottblairart
I'd rather be working a table than walking around anyway.
I've hit that point where conventions are really only good for socializing and buying things. (How sad is that?)
I like panels sometimes, but I will only venture into one at a tiny convention.
Speaking of tiny conventions! I will be attending Oni-Con HI this weekend.
I'm actually not sure what size it is, but it is only their first year.
I'm pretty sure I'm only buying a pass for today just so I can scope out the dealer's room and artist alley.
Although, I might get a weekend pass. It depends. I guess I'll decide when I get there in a few hours.
Here are my cosplay plans!
Today: Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon / Supergirl from DC Comics
Tomorrow: Marvel Girl (green dress) OR 80s Psylocke from X-Men
I commissioned a Marvel Girl mask and belt buckle that haven't come in yet, so unless they come in today, I'll be Psylocke tomorrow.
Which sucks because I rush ordered gloves and a wig and made the costume in three seconds, but whatever, at least I have a backup plan.
As far as cosplay photos go, I only had one photo-shoot done at NYCC. D:
Hopefully this weekend I get a crap ton so I have something more to post than sketch covers!
I feel bad because most of you follow me for cosplay not my wannabe art.
Well, I should probably start getting ready for today!
I hope I'll have a good time! -fingers crossed- >.<
By the way, if you're really wanting some cosplay photos (and other things), I constantly
post on my Instagram!
